Film Blowing Machine Manufacturer & Supplier
A film blowing machine melts plastic pellets and inflates them into a continuous film bubble that is cooled, flattened and wound into rolls. E-SHION builds blown film lines from 500 to 2,600 mm film width and 30 to 500 kg/h output — monolayer, ABA, ABC, IBC 3-layer and PP configurations, CE certified under an ISO 9001 quality system, with 2,500+ machines installed in 30+ countries.
How a blown film line works
One film blowing machine is a complete extrusion line: plastic pellets are melted in a screw extruder, forced through a circular die, and inflated into a film bubble. An air ring cools the bubble, nips and flattens it, then the winder rolls the film at a constant tension.
The result is a continuous roll of film ready for printing, bag making, lamination or direct sale — from the same production hall.
- Extruder melts the polymer (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP)
- Circular die forms the melt into a tube
- Air ring + internal bubble cooling stabilize the bubble
- Nip rollers flatten the tube into double film
- Winder produces rolls at constant tension
Types of film blowing machines
The right machine depends on the film you produce: layer count, material and output decide the configuration. E-SHION's blown film range covers the full spectrum.

3 Layer Air Bubble Film Machine
In the rapidly evolving world of e-commerce and global logistics, the demand for superior protective packaging has never been higher. A 3-layer co-extrusion air bubble film machine represents the gold standard in bubble wrap production.
Max Finished Width 3000mm · Customizable for various roll sizes $25,000 – $65,000View datasheet →Film materials and machines
Most packaging films are polyethylene: LDPE and LLDPE for soft films and bags, HDPE for stiffer shopping bags, PP for high-clarity film. A monolayer machine processes one material stream; ABA and ABC configurations co-extrude several layers in one die head for barrier and strength without lamination.
E-SHION machines run LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and CaCO₃ masterbatch compounds.
What you can produce

How to choose a film blowing machine
Start with the film you sell, not the machine. Decide film width, thickness, output and material first — then the layer configuration (monolayer vs ABA vs ABC vs IBC 3-layer) and automation follow. Our step-by-step buying guide walks through the decision.

Frequently asked questions
What is a film blowing machine?
A film blowing machine (blown film extrusion line) melts plastic pellets and inflates them through a circular die into a film bubble, then cools, flattens and winds the film into rolls. It is the first machine in a plastic bag or packaging production line.
What is the difference between monolayer and multi-layer film blowing machines?
A monolayer machine extrudes a single layer of one material. Multi-layer co-extrusion machines (ABA, ABC, 3-layer, 5-layer) combine several layers in one die head for barrier properties, strength and printability without lamination. ABA uses two extruders for three layers; ABC uses three extruders for three layers.
How much does a film blowing machine cost?
Factory-direct indicative ranges: mini lines from about $12,000–$28,000, monolayer $18,000–$45,000, ABA $35,000–$90,000, IBC 3-layer $60,000–$150,000. Final price depends on width, output, layer count and automation — request a quote for your configuration.
What film width and output can E-SHION machines produce?
Film width from 100 mm (mini) up to 2,600 mm folded (IBC 3-layer), output from 35 kg/h to 500 kg/h, thickness 0.008–0.15 mm depending on configuration.
What materials can the machines process?
LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and CaCO₃ masterbatch compounds. Machines are configured to your material mix before production.
Do you supply the complete line from film to bag?
Yes — film blowing, printing, bag making and recycling machines are all built under one roof, so one supplier covers the full production line with one warranty and one support line.
