- A film line running 200 kg/h typically generates 10–15% edge trim and start-up scrap — 20–30 kg/h. A 150–300 kg/h granulator clears that in a fraction of a shift and accumulates pellets for re-feeding.
- Reclaimed pellets are typically blended back at 10–30% into non-food film. On current resin prices that is a direct cut in material cost — usually the fastest-payback item in the plant.
