T-shirt and vest bag machines
The largest family: GFQ for a wide size range, GFQ-800 four-line for narrow bags at volume, DFR-400×2 for one format at high cycle rates.

Garbage bags — drawstring and thermal cut

Roll and circular bag machines
Star sealing and HF circular machines produce bags on rolls or loops — a different sealing geometry from the flat T-shirt machines.

What moves the price
Two machines of the same type can differ by tens of thousands of dollars. These are the decisions that do it:
- Lane count — each added line is another sealing and cutting station, motor and control axis
- Bag size range — a wider cutting width means a bigger frame, longer knives and heavier drives
- Automation — manual, automatic or computer-controlled handle punching; servo versus inverter drives
- Sealing system — thermal cut, side seal, star seal or drawstring forming are different mechanisms
- Film gauge — thicker film needs more sealing power and heavier tension control
- Options — auto stacker, label attachment, printing register control, extra unwinds
The film line is part of the budget
A bag machine without film to run is idle capacity. Budget the film line with the bag machine, and size the film output to the bag machine rather than the other way round.

Why do bag making machine prices vary so much?

A four-line machine is not a two-line machine with an option — it is a different build.
Is a cheaper machine worth it?
